Life

Some think that this saint was none other than Simon the Leper, healed by the Lord. The Apostle Peter appointed him bishop and sent him to pagan Gaul, where Saint Julian endured great afflictions but succeeded in converting many people to the Faith of Christ. When he baptized Prince Defensor, then many subjects of this prince also embraced the true Faith. By the grace of God he performed great miracles: he healed the sick, cast out demons, and raised the dead. He ended his life peacefully, and at the time of his death he appeared in the middle of the day to Prince Defensor while the latter was at dinner.
